Kalia Pourasava Eleven clinched the title of the Walton Narail DC Gold Cup Football Tournament beating Sadar Upazila team by 11-10 goals in a marathon tie-breaker at the Bir Shreshtha Nur Mohammad Stadium in Narail Saturday, reports UNB.
The final match between two teams was locked in goalless position in the stipulated period.
Champions Kalia Pourasava Eleven received prize money of Tk 10,000 while runners-up Sadar Upazila team got Tk 5,000 as prize money.
Arif of the Sadar Upazila team was adjudged the best player of the final.
Deputy Commissioner of Narail Abdul Gaffar Khan was the chief guest in the final and distributed the prizes.
Acting Police Super of Narail Mohammad Anwar Hossain and general secretary of Narail DSA Ashiqur Rahman Miku were also present on the occasion.
