State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Saturday said the government will take stern actions against the culprits involved in violence at Kalshi in Pallabi that left 10 people dead. ‘It’s a serious incident…those involved in it will be brought to justice, nobody will be spared,’ he said. At least nine people, including four women and four children, were burnt to death while another was shot dead during a series of clashes between two groups of stranded Pakistanis over blasting crackers at Kurmitola Bihari camp at Kalshi in the city on Saturday morning. Law enforcement agencies have already launched their investigation into the incident, Kamal said adding that the culprits will be hunted down soon. In reply to a question whether police have any negligence in this regard, the state minister said, 'No, police appeared at spot in time and brought the situation under control,' according to UNB.
