Kamaruzzaman just 15 yards off gallows

The death-row convict Kamaruzzaman was staying just 15 yards off the gallows in the Dhaka Central Jail on Thursday. He was brought to the room no. 7 of the Condemned Cell No. 8, as reported by online news portals until filing this report at 10.00 pm. State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan said on Thursday Muhammad Kamaruzzaman would have to decide whether he would seek presidential clemency by the day or the court verdict would be executed. — Agencies
