Karmasangsthan Bank holds 120th board meeting

The 120th meeting of the board of directors of Karmasangsthan Bank was held in the city recently.
Karmasangsthan Bank Chairman Md Sirajul Islam presided over the meeting.
The audited balance sheet of the bank for the financial year 2006-2007 was approved in the meeting.
Karmasangsthan Bank earned an operating profit of Tk 55.10 million (5.51 crore) for the corresponding year of 2006-2007.
The bank has disbursed loan under different programmes like 'eradication of hazardous child labour in Bangladesh,' 'financing agro-based industries' and 'financing self-employment of voluntary self-retired/retrenched workers/employees of industries and factories.'
