Karmasangsthan Bank holds meeting with entrepreneurs

Karmasangsthan Bank, Keranigonj branch, Dhaka has arranged a meeting of the entrepreneurs Tuesday on its new premises, said a press release.
Managing Director of the bank MA Yousoof inaugurated the activities of the branch on the new premises as the chief guest and handed over cheques of sanctioned loan to the entrepreneurs.
The MD expressed his satisfaction over doubling of loan disbursement until October 2009 compared to the corresponding period of the last year in spite of manpower shortage and advised the bank officials to implement the government's commitment for changing the society through programmes of massive employment creation and poverty reduction by performing their duties honestly and sincerely.
He exchanged views with the entrepreneurs and heard their success stories in establishing various types of projects with the financial assistance from the bank. The managing director also apprised the meeting of the government's policy in this connection. The bank has doubled its lending and recovery amounts for 2009-2010 compared to the previous fiscal year and fixed these as Tk 2.2 billion and Tk 1.67 billion respectively. General Manager (Operation) Md Dilwar Hossain Bhuiyan also addressed the meeting as the special guest.
