Katalyst, SRDI sign MoU FE Report

Swiss-contact Katalyst and Soil Resource Development Institute (SRDI) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the SRDI conference room in the city Wednesday.
Katalyst Division Manager Harald Bekkers and SRDI Director Lutfur Rahman signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
Also present at the signing ceremony were SRDI Chief Scientific Officer Jalal Uddin Mohammad Shoaib, Katalyst business consultants Abu Sufian, Sabbir Ahmed and Khaled Khan, National AgriCare Marketing Manager M Shamsul Alam Akanda, SRDI Deputy Manager (Admin) Kbd Shahidul Islam and Assistant Manager Kbd Kamrul Ahasan Bhuiyan.
Under the MoU, they will be engaged in a long-term effort to develop a nationwide fertiliser recommendation system to inform and motivate the farmers for the application of proper dosage of different fertilisers and micronutrients in their croplands.
This effort will have a positive impact on farmers by increasing their land productivity and contribute to the country's agricultural development.
