Kayes cracks 115 as Bangladesh reach 258/3

Imrul Kayes and Shamsur Rahman each hammered hundred as Bangladesh further reduced their first innings deficit against Sri Lanka on the third day of their second cricket Test match at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Thursday afternoon. The not out batsmen were Imrul Kayes, who made 115 runs from 214 balls hitting seventeen 4s and one 6, and Shakib Al Hasan 0 off 11 balls. The last batsman out was Mominul Haque lbw b Perera 13. He faced 20 balls and was out at the end of the 68th over of the hosts’ first innings. Beside Imrul Kayes, Shamsur Rahman was the other Bangladesh bat hitting his maiden ton in The Test. Centuries by Shamsur Rahman and Imrul Kayes helped Tigers fortify their position on the third day. Kayes cracked his hundred off 181 balls while Rahman scored his ton from 185 balls.Bangladesh were 258 for three in 71.3 over against Sri Lanka’s 587.
