Kazi Zafar at ICU

Chairman of a faction of Jatiya Party Kazi Zafar Ahmed was shifted to the incentive care unit (ICU) of United Hospital on Thursday as his health condition deteriorated sharply. Zafar’s personal secretary Golam Mostafa said doctors shifted Zafar to the ICU from his cabin in the evening for a close observation. Kazi Zafar, now under the treatment of Prof Mominuzzaman, was admitted to the United Hospital after he fell sick on Tuesday. Meanwhile, president of Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) Prof AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury and BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir visited ailing Zafar at the hospital, according to a news agency.
