Kazi Zafar\\\'s 4th janaza held at Gulshan Azad mosque

The fourth Namaj-e-Janaza of Jatiya Party (Zafar) chairman and also former Prime Minister Kazi Zafar Ahmed was held at Azad Masjid (mosque) in Dhaka’s Gulshan after Asr prayers on Friday. His elder son-in-law Syed Almas Kabir and grandson Ayman Kabir, former parliamentarian Shah Shahid Sarwar, joint secretary general of JP (a faction) SMM Alam and other party leaders and activists attended the janaza. Syed Almas Kabir said the body will be kept at Kazi Zafar’s Gulshan residence. Later, the body will be taken to Chiorah Kazi Bari under Chauddagram in Comilla district for his burial after the zohr prayers on Saturday. The first Namaj-e-Janaza of Kazi Zafar was held in Tongi mill gate mosque adjacent to Ijtema ground in Gazipur at 8:15am, the second Janaza held at South Plaza of Jatiya Sangshad in Dhaka at 11:05am and the third Janaza held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after Juma prayers at 2:01pm. Kazi Zafar died at United Hospital in Dhaka after a cardiac arrest at the age of 76, according to a news agency.
