KCC mayor calls for expansion of IT

KHULNA, Dec 4 (BSS): Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque today said utilisation of information technology (IT) should be expanded for building digital Bangladesh.
"We have to ensure utilization of information technology in all spheres of life to move the country ahead," he told a discussion on 'Technical education in building digital Bangladesh' at the public hall here.
Khanjahan Ali Science and Technology University of Khulna city organized the discussion.
Vice Chancellor of Khulna University of Engineering and technology(KUET) Prof Dr Md Alamgir and Prof Jalal Uddin Ahmed of Accounting Department of Govt. Azam Khan Commerce College, among others, addressed the discussion with Principal of the college Engr Md Abul Kalam Azad in the chair.
Khaleque said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina declared for building a digital Bangladesh realizing the importance of information technology.
He urged the people of the country to come forward for building a digital Bangladesh by 2021.
