Kevin leaves for home after job at Biman

Sunday, 20 April 2014

Kevin Steele, the first foreign managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines who quit his post in January last, left Dhaka for home Saturday morning. As Steele has quit, Biman Director (Customer Services) AM Mosaddique Ahmed has been given the charge of the MD and CEO of the national flag carrier. Steele joined Biman in March last year on a two-year contract. But in January this year he submitted his resignation citing medical reasons, which the Board of Directors of Biman accepted last month with effect from April 17.    — UNB
