KFC National Women\\\'s Football kicks off Apr 30

The 5th edition KFC National Women's Football Championship will kick off on April 30 at different venues in the country, reports UNB.
In the opening day of the meet, the two teams of the Karnaphuli Zone, Khagrachhari District will face Noakhali District at Lakhsmipur Stadium while in the Padma Zone, Gaibandha District will take on Joypurhat District at Rajshahi Stadium.
A total of 43 District Women's Football teams will take part from seven divisions of the country split in six zones.
Six Zonal Champion team will play in the final round of the meet.
However, 37 teams took part in the 4th edition of the meet.
All participating teams will receive Tk 20,000 while for each winning Tk 5,000 more.
Women Football Committee Chairman Sirajul Islam Bachchu disclosed these at a press conference on Thursday held at Bangladesh Football Federation.
Vice Chairman of the BFF Women's Wing Mahfuza Akther Kiron, BFF General Secretary Abu Noyeem Shohag and General Manager of the meet Sponsor 'KFC' Mizanur Rahman were also present at the press conference.
