Khaled re-elected DCCI president

Hossain Khaled has been re-elected as the president of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) for the term of 2008.
Salahuddin Abdullah and Khandaker Shahidul Islam have been elected respectively as the senior vice president and vice president of the chamber for the same period.
The election was held at the DCCI auditorium in the city Saturday.
As per the Trade Ordinance Rule, eight directors out of 24 retire every year and new eight directors are inducted in the DCCI board.
The newly-elected directors for 2008-2010 are RI Khan, Schezade AK Khan, MA Baten and Yead Ali Fakir from general class, Sirajuddin Malik and Nessar Maksud Khan from associate class, Hossain Khaled from town associate and MS Shekil Chowdhury from trade group.
The president and the newly-elected senior vice president and vice president and directors have taken their charges Sunday in the 46th annual general meeting (AGM) of the chamber.
