Khaleda-B Chy meeting Thursday

After nearly 12 years, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia is going to formally sit with Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) President Prof AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury on Thursday night to discuss the country’s latest political situation and their future course of action. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 8:30pm at the BNP chairperson’s Gulshan political office, her media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB on Wednesday. BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and BDB secretary general Major (retd) Abdul Mannan, also a former BNP minister, will also be there at the meeting, he added. According to the sources, Khaleda and B Chowdhury will also elaborately discuss as to how they can work in the days to come either jointly or being a member of the 19-party alliance.
