Khaleda blames AL men for abductions

Thursday, 1 May 2014

Charging the ruling party men with the incidents of killing, forced disappearance and abduction, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia said Wednesday these repressive and 'heinous' acts can be stopped only when a pro-people government assumes office, reports UNB.
"The current illegal regime won't be able to stop killings and forced disappearances as Awami League and their cohorts are involved in these incidents. So, a pro-people government must be installed through an election under a non-party administration to stop these heinous acts," she said.
Khaleda was addressing a discussion at the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh arranged by Jatiya Ganotantrik Party (Jagpa), marking its 34th founding anniversary.
