Khaleda concludes Zia's 29th death anniversary programmes

Amid a number of participation from all section of people, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia Tuesday concluded the party's three-day Doa mahfil and food distribution programmes marking the 29th death anniversary of the party founder late President Ziaur Rahman, reports UNB.
She visited a total of about 24 venues covering the old part of the city as well as Keraniganj and Savar upazilas on the outskirts of the capital city to join doa mahfil and distribute tobarak among poor people Tuesday.
Thousands of party faithful and people of all walks of life greeted Khaleda when she visited the areas including Chunkutia, Kaliganj Bazar, Aganagar Gudaraghat, Jinjira, Kalindi and Ranajitpur in Keraniganj.
Riding on motorbikes, hundreds of young JCD and Jubo Dal activists with headbands escorted BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia all through during her visit to different spots in Keraniganj.
BNP standing committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy and Joint Secretary General Amanullah Aman accompanied Khaleda in Keraniganj.
Khaleda Zia concluded the programme joining doa and distributing food at Amin Bazar in Savar at 700pm.
She also distributed lungi, saree, rice, lentil, potato, onion and other daily necessities among poor men, women and children.
