Khaleda demands release of all detained leaders

Recently-released former premier Khaleda Zia has demanded release of all detained political leaders, alleging that arrest and detention of BNP leaders "in false cases are part of a conspiracy being hatched to destroy the nationalist force," reports UNB.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the BNP chairperson said people of all strata of the country now have raised voice in demand for release of the detained leaders of her party.
She also expressed her hope that the caretaker government would soon take initiatives to create a healthy and congenial political atmosphere in the country setting free all detained leaders and activists "to show respect to public opinions".
Khaleda Zia particularly mentioned the names of the detained BNP leaders like Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Tariqul Islam, Nazmul Huda, Altaf Hossain Chowdhury, Mirza Abbas, Amanullah Aman, Mir Nasiruddin, Salahuddin Ahmed, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, Mizanur Rahman Minu, Mujibur Rahman Sarwar, Abdus Salam Pintu, Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu, Salahuddin Ahmed, Fazlul Huq Milon, Manjurul Ahsan Munshi, Mosaddeq Ali Falu, Shamsuzzoha Khan, Ali Asgar
Lobi, MAH Selim, Nasiruddin Ahmed Pintu, Naser Rahman and Wadud Bhuiyan.
