Khaleda, Fakhrul, Rizvi sued for subversive activities

RANGPUR, Feb 05 (BSS): A case has been filed with the Judicial Magistrate Cognizance Court-3 in Panchagarh against BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, its Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
General Secretary of Boda upazila unit of Awami Swechchasebak League M Sohag filed the case today seeking exemplary punishments to the accused persons for conducting subversive activities, uprooting rail lines, torching vehicles and destroying government properties.
According to the court sources, Advocates Fakhrul Hassan and Padmalochan Dey filed the case on behalf of the plaintiff.
After hearing of the case, Judicial Magistrate Shishir Kumar Bose of the Judicial Magistrate Cognizance Court-3 of Panchagarh issued order to Officer-in-Charge of Boda Thana for taking legal actions after investigating the case.
The plaintiff in the case alleged that massive subversive activities are being conducted in every district, upazila, village and other places.
