Khaleda flies to S Arabia Saturday

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia goes to Saudi Arabia on Saturday to perform Umrah at the invitation of the Saudi government. The BNP chief is scheduled to fly from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in a flight of Emirates Airlines on Saturday evening, her press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan Sohel told UNB. Khaleda, also a former Prime Minister, will perform Umrah as a royal guest of the Saudi government as she does every year, he said. Khaleda goes to Saudi Arabia every Ramadan to perform Umrah and pass the last days of the holy month there in special prayers. She is expected to return home on July 25.
