Khaleda gifts \\\'jamdani\\\' to Swaraj

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has gifted a 'jamdani sari' to Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. BNP Vice Chairman Shamser Mobin Chowdhury said, 'The jamdani sari was presented to Sushma Swaraj before the official meeting between the two leaders.' Khaleda had the meeting with Sushma in the city's Hotel Sonargaon. The two leaders referred to their earlier meeting at the Safdar Jung Lane residence of the then Indian opposition leader two years ago. Khaleda paid a visit to New Delhi in 2012 when she had a meeting with Sushma Swaraj, then the Leader Opposition in Lok Sabha, the Indian parliament, according to bdnews24.com.
