Khaleda goes to Joypurhat on June 22

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will go to the northern district of Joypurhat on June 22 to drum up public support in favour of her party’s demand for arranging a fresh election under a non-party administration and mobilise public opinion against the ‘growing’ incidents of extrajudicial killing and forced disappearance. As part of her district tour, the BNP chairperson will go to the northern region, her press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan told UNB on Wednesday. BNP chief’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan said Khaleda will go to Joypurhat on June 22 and address a public rally there in the afternoon, according to a news agency.
