Khaleda in Natore

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia reached Natore on Saturday afternoon. She will address a public rally at NS Government College ground at Natore town, organised by the BNP-led 20-party alliance. Her motorcade reached Natore Circuit House around 3:00pm. Earlier around 10:25am her motorcade left her Gulshan residence. The party’s Vice Chairman Selima Rahman was in her car. The BNP Chairperson’s press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan said the party leader would go to the venue by 3:00pm after having her lunch at the district’s circuit house. The rally is part of the coalition’s nationwide campaign to press its demands for a fresh national election. This would be the BNP chief's sixth public appearance since the January 5 elections. On October 23, she addressed a rally at Nilphamari district town, according to a news agency.
