Khaleda meets 4-party allies

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia Thursday held meeting with leaders of four-party alliance, led by her party, to discuss expansion of the alliance to accommodate other like-minded political parties, reports UNB. The meeting, chaired by Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan office, begun at about 9 pm. The meeting was continuing until the last report came in. Sources close to the meeting said the matter of expansion of the four-party alliance and future course of anti-government movement figured discussion. The alliance is comprised of BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP), Islami Oikya Jote (IOJ) and Khelafat Majlish.
