A day after her meeting with her advisers, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia sat with BNP vice chairmen and joint secretaries general on Tuesday night to discuss the country's latest political situation and work out the party's next course of action and movement strategy, reports UNB.
The meeting began around 9pm with Khaleda in the chair at her Gulshan office.
Party sources said Khaleda Zia would discuss the final movement strategy with her party's vice-chairmen and joint secretaries as BNP is planning to wage a Dhaka-centric decisive movement early next year.
Earlier on Monday night, she had a marathon meeting with the members of her advisory council and took their opinions about the movement strategy and gave them necessary directions to make their future agitation a success.
BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and 25 members of her advisory council attended the meeting.
The BNP chairperson last sat with the advisory council members nearly 18 months back.
