Khaleda opposes broadcasting policy without reading it: Inu

Accusing BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia of making comments on the National Broadcasting Policy without going through it, Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu on Tuesday advised her to speak against yellow journalism instead of opposing the policy. “She (Khaleda) didn’t even read the policy and simply alleged that the National Broadcasting Policy is aimed at throttling the media,” he told a roundtable discussion in the city. Better Bangladesh Foundation organised the programme titled, ‘The Role of Media in Building Better Bangladesh’, at the Jatiya Press Club, according to a news agency.
