Khaleda patronises blogger killings, says Hasan Mahmud

Publicity and Publication Affairs Secretary of the ruling Awami League Dr Hasan Mahmud alleged on Friday that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia assisted and patronised the killing of bloggers and, for this, she should be grilled.
"The lady leader, who indulges in and harbours killings in the name of politics, was the patron and assistance-provider in the clandestine murders. Khaleda was the patron of the killing of bloggers," he said.
Dr Hasan Mahmud said this while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion at Awami League central office at Bangabandhu Avenue in the city, reports BSS.
Awami Ulema League organised the discussion in observance of the historic Homecoming Day of Awami League president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
President of Awami Ulema League Moulana Ilyas Hossain Bin Helali chaired the discussion, also addressed, among others, by assistant secretary to AL sub-committee MA Karim and vice-president of the host organisation Kayesul Alam.
