Khaleda queen of killers, says Inu

Branding BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia as the queen of killers, Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu on Thursday said she is promoting criminalised politics in the country. “Khaleda Zia is surrounded by killers…there’re killers in her left, right and also before and behind her. She’s, in fact, the queen of killers,” he said. Inu was speaking at a meeting arranged by Dhaka city west unit of Jatiya Samjtantrik Dal (JSD) in memory Col Abu Taher in the city’s Mirpur area. He alleged that the BNP chief is making a mockery of politics to protect criminals and militants, and accused her of trying to promote the criminals of 1971, 1975 and 2004 (21st August) and justify their roles. Khaleda will remain ineligible for democracy as long as she does politics with criminals, Inu said adding that the current grand alliance government is determined to stop the politics of killing by initiating a healthy political culture. He asked people to get united under the leadership of Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina to save the country from killers and militants, according to UNB.
