Khaleda returns home

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia returned home Thursday night, ending her nine-day tour of Singapore for medical treatment. Senior BNP leaders received Khaleda at the airport. Later, she drove straight to her Gulshan office to hold an emergency meeting with her party's senior leaders to discuss the country's evolving political situation. The former premier went to Singapore on February 19 for medical treatment of her knee, throat and tooth complications. — UNB
