Khaleda sits with party policymakers tonight

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will sit with the party’s standing committee members on Sunday night to finalise her party’s action programmes to force the government for arranging a fresh election under a non-party neutral administration. The meeting is scheduled to start around 8:30pm at Khaleda Zia’s political office at Gulshan in the city, party sources said. The last meeting of the BNP’s standing committee, the policymaking body, was held on May 10. A highly-placed source at the BNP said the country’s overall political situation will be discussed at the meeting. It said Khaleda Zia will give the standing committee members direction to make their upcoming movement a success, according to a news agency.
