Khaleda submits nominations for Feni-1, Bogra-6, 7

The nomination papers for BNP chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia were submitted Sunday for three constituencies to the election authorities in Bogra and Feni ahead of the parliamentary polls, reports UNB.
The nomination papers for Khaleda Zia were submitted Sunday for two constituencies-Bogra-6 (Sadar) and Bogra-7 (Gabtali-Shajahanpur).
District BNP president Rezaul Karim Badsha along with local leaders and supporters submitted the nomination papers on behalf of Khaleda Zia for Bogra-6 constituency to the Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Humayun Kabir at about 3:00 pm.
Later, at about 4:00 pm, Gabtoli thana BNP president Aminur Rahman Talukder, accompanied by local leaders and workers, submitted the nomination papers for Khaleda Zia for the Bogra-7 constituency to the Gabtoli UNO and Assistant Returning Officer Shah Rezwan Hayat.
Meanwhile, Sayeed Eskander, younger brother of Khaleda Zia, submitted her nomination papers for Feni-1 constituency.
