Khaleda to address grand rally in Barisal city on May 12

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia as part of her ongoing divisional headquarters organisational tour will address a grand rally at Barisal city on May 12 to mobilise support against the government's 'failures and misdeeds', reports UNB.
A meeting of the preparatory committee of Barisal divisional city grand rally with its coordinator BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas in the chair was held at the party's Nayapaltan central office Tuesday to make the rally a success.
At the meeting, eight organisational teams assigned with BNP central leaders were formed comprising eight political districts of the Barisal division to organise meetings in the districts.
The meeting decided that the leaders of the eight sub-committees along with other leaders would hold meetings and rallies at the districts, upazilas and municipalities of the division on April 30.
Besides another seven sub-committees were formed in the meeting for proper management of the grand rally.
The grand rally in Dhaka city will be held on May 19 while the date of grand rally at Sylhet divisional headquarters has not yet been disclosed.
