Khaleda to brief media soon

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is likely to meet the press very soon to brief about the ‘growing incidents of extrajudicial killing and human rights violation’. “We’ll hold a press conference within a day or two to give you the detailed information about secret killings, forced disappearances and other incidents relating to human rights violation. There’s a possibility that our chairperson (Khaleda) will address it,” said BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday. Addressing a press conference at BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office, Fakhrul alleged that the government has resorted to all possible measures to annihilate the opposition to cling to power, according to a news agency.
