Khaleda to exchange greetings with Hindu community Monday

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will exchange greetings with members of the country’s Hindu community on Monday, marking the Janmashtami.
The programme will be held at her Gulshan political office around 7:30pm, her media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB on Sunday.
The Hindu community celebrated Janmashtami, a religious festival marking the birth of Lord Sri Krishna, across the country amid festivity and religious fervour on Saturday.
The BNP chief exchanges greetings with the Hindu community every year on the occasion of Janmashtami, Sayrul said.
