Khaleda to exchange greetings with Hindu community Saturday

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will exchange greetings with the members of the country’s Hindu community Saturday, marking the Janmashtami.
The programme will be held at her Gulshan political office around 8:30pm, her media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB Friday.
The Hindus will celebrate Janmashtami, a religious festival marking the birth of Lord Sri Krishna, across the country amid festivity and religious fervour Sunday.
The day is a public holiday.
The BNP chief exchanges greetings with the Hindu community every year on the occasion of Janmashtami, Sayrul said.
