Khaleda to exchange greetings with Hindu community today

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will exchange greetings with members of the country's Hindu community following Durga Puja, reports UNB.
The BNP chief will host a reception to members of the Hindu community and exchange greetings with them at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh today (Tuesday) afternoon, marking their religious festival Durga Puja, said her media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan.
The programme will begin around 3:00 pm. Senior BNP leaders and leaders of the Hindu community will be present at the programme, he said.
The five-day Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Hindu community, ended on October 4.
Earlier, on August 15 this year, Khaleda, also a former prime minister, exchanged greetings with the members of the country's Hindu community, marking the Janmashtami at her Gulshan political office.
