Khaleda to take Iftar with orphans, ulema Monday

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will take Iftar with orphans and alem-ulema (Islamic scholars) on the first day of the fasting month of Ramadan on Monday. Khaleda, also a former Prime Minister, will host the Iftar party at the city’s Ladies Club, her press secretary Maruf Kamal Khan told UNB. Nearly 400 orphans, including boys and girls, from different orphanages in the capital as well as a good number of Islamic scholars from various areas have been invited to attend the Iftar party.
