Khaleda urged not to celebrate her birthday on Aug 15

Joint general secretary of the ruling Awami League (AL) Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif urged Saturday BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia not to celebrate her fake birthday by cutting cake on the National Mourning Day on August 15, reports BSS.
"It will again be proved that Begum Zia has still been siding with the killers of Bangabandhu and the ghosts of the defeated forces of 1971 if she cuts cake to celebrate her birthday on the National Mourning Day," he said.
The AL leader said this while briefing reporters on the joint meeting at the political office of party president Sheikh Hasina at Dhanmondi in the city Saturday.
The meeting of the central leaders of AL, its associate bodies and likeminded organisations was convened with a view to making the programmes of the Month of Mourning, August, a success.
AL general secretary and LGRD Minister Syed Ashraful Islam presided over the meeting.
