Khaleda urged not to celebrate her \\\'fake\\\' birthday on Aug 15

Awami League (AL) presidium member and Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim urged Friday BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia not to celebrate her 'fake' birthday by cutting cake on the National Mourning Day, reports BSS.
"August is the month of mourning for Bangalee nation and August 15 is the day of mourning. You either observe the day or not as the mourning day but don't celebrate your fake birthday by cutting cake," he said pointing at Begum Khaleda Zia.
Mohammad Nasim made this appeal while speaking as the chief guest at a public rally organised by Sammilito Awami Samarthak Jote in front of the AL central office at Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital at one minute past zero hours on the first day of the Month of Mourning.
Chairman of the Jote Abdul Huq Sabuj presided over the rally and Dhaka City AL general secretary Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya (Bir Bikram), office secretary Shahidul Islam Milon, health and population affairs secretary Dr Dilip Roy and Bangabandhu Juba Parishad president Masud Khan Babu, among others, addressed the rally.
Mohammad Nasim said, "The killers of 1971 and 1975 along with their stooges are trying to repeat another incident like that of the August 15 carnage. They wanted to kill Sheikh Hasina but failed. That's why they are hatching conspiracy again."
The senior AL leader said, "The whole world accepted the January 5 polls. Khaleda Zia committed a mistake by not taking part in that election. Now she has been hatching conspiracy to grab power."
Speaking at the rally, Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya, also Relief and Disaster Management Minister, said, "Tough action would be taken against those who would try to create anarchy in the name of movement. Resistance would be created in line with the nature of movement."
