Khaleda visits Zia, Koko\\\'s graves

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has visited the graves of her husband Ziaur Rahman and son Arafat Rahman Koko on Tuesday afternoon, on the occasion of Holy Shab-e-Barat, her media wing member Shayrul Kabir Khan told reporters on Tuesday. The BNP chief left her Gulshan residence for Banani Graveyard to visit the grave of her younder son Arafat Rahman Koko at 4:00pm. She offered munajat at the grave of her son, praying to the Almighty Allah for salvation of the departed soul of late Arafat Rahman. From Banani, the BNP chief left for Ziaur Rahman’s grave at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in city’s Agargaon area at 5:00pm. Party leaders and activists were accompanying Khaleda Zia during the visit. Meanhwile, a doa and milad mahfil, on the occasion of Holy Shab-e-Barat, will also be arranged at BNP central office in Nayapaltan in the afternoon, according to a news agency.
