Khaleda will contest from Bogra-6

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will contest the upcoming election from Bogra-6 constituency, said one of her aides, reports UNB.
Nomination papers for her were collected from four constituencies - Bogra-6 and 7, Dinajpur-3 and Comilla-6. But she has desired to contest from only one seat - Bogra-6.
Meanwhile, BNP parliamentary board starts interview of the party nomination seekers at 10am today (Thursday) at its Gulshan office.
BNP office secretary Rizvi Ahmed said the board, comprising members of the standing committee and headed by Khaleda Zia, will start interviewing candidates from Chittagong division, followed by Sylhet, Dhaka, Barisal, Khulna and Rajshahi division.
Sources at BNP central office at Naya Paltan said around 3,100 party nomination forms were sold, and 1,900 submitted until 8:30pm Wednesday.
