Khaleda wishes Tarique over phone as BNP celebrates his birthday

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has wished her eldest son Tarique Rahman over phone on the occasion of his 47th birthday.
One minute past Saturday-midnight the BNP chairperson, flanked by party leaders and its front and associate organisations, cut birthday cakes at her Gulshan office in the city, reports UNB.
After cutting the birthday cakes Khaleda Zia talked to Tarique over cell phone saying "Everybody including the party leaders and workers have been eagerly waiting for your return home following quick recovery of your health".
She said: "The people, including leaders and workers of the party are praying for your early recovery".
Later the party leaders including Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Nazrul Islam Khan, Amanullah Aman and Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, and JCD leader Sultan Salahuddin Tuku talked with Tarique Rahman and conveyed him the wishes for the birthday.
Tarique asked everybody to pray for him and seek divine blessings from the Almighty.
The BNP chief first cut a big birthday cake of the party followed by cutting of cakes of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), Swechchhasebak Dal and the city unit of the BNP.
Thousands of enthusiastic and joyous leaders and workers thronged her Gulshan office carrying bouquets to celebrate Tarique's birthday.
They chanted slogans wishing Tarique many many returns of the day on his 47th birthday.

November 20 is the birth day of Tarique, the eldest son of late President Ziaur Rahman, founder of BNP and the party chief Khaleda, also the opposition leader.
Tarique is now in London for medical treatment.
