‘Khaleda Zia not in good health’

Although their party chief Khaleda Zia returned home from Evercare Hospital on Wednesday, she is not in good health, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said on Saturday, reports UNB.
He made the remark while exchanging views with journalists at the BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office.
"Begum Khaleda Zia is unwell. Her body temperature was high on Friday," the BNP leader said.
When asked about the possibility of taking her abroad for advanced medical treatment, Fakhrul explained that doctors do not currently deem her fit for flying, which is delaying her travel for medical care overseas.
Khaleda Zia had been hospitalised at Evercare Hospital for six days and returned to her Gulshan residence on September 18.
She was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday evening by her medical board, but she has been receiving treatment at home under close observation by doctors.
A specialised medical board, led by Professor Shahabuddin Talukdar, has been overseeing her treatment for a long time.
The doctors successfully installed a pacemaker in Khaleda Zia's chest on June 23.
