Monday, 26 January 2015

Minister for War of Liberation Affairs Mozammel Haq warned Sunday that the trial of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia would be held on the soil of this country for resorting to violence as a means to grab the power, reports BSS.
The minister stated this while speaking at a protest rally organied by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote (BSJ) held in front of the National Press Club in the city.
Chaired by Arun Sarker Rana, general secretary of BSJ, the rally also was addressed, among others, by Balaram Poddar, director of Agrani Bank, Habibur Rahman Manik and Krishak League vice-president MA Karim.
"The trial of Khaleda Zia would be held in the country as she [Khaleda Zia] committed mayhem in the country at the instruction of her foreign master", said the minister.
Even Khaleda Zia preferred to pursue undemocratic means to go to power and that's why she is killing people by hurling petrol bombs and torching vehicles in the name of movement, the minister told the rally.
