Khaleda\\\'s public meet in Jamalpur tomorrow

Friday, 26 September 2014

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia goes to Tangail today (Friday) as she embarks on a tour of Jamalpur to address a public rally and distribute relief materials among the recent flood-hit people in the district, reports UNB.
The tour is aimed at mobilising public opinion in favour of the BNP-led 20-party's demand for a fresh election under a non-partisan government.
It also meant for mounting pressure on the government to stop extrajudicial killings, forced disappearances and repressive acts, and revoking the National Broadcast Policy and 16th amendment to the constitution.
The BNP chief will start her journey for Jamalpur from her Gulshan residence around 5pm, said Khaleda's media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan.
