Khaleque, Monir re-elected chairman vice chairman of Fareast Finance

MA Khaleque has been reelected chairman of Fareast Finance and Investment Limited in its 105th meeting of the board of directors.
After completion of Masters from Dhaka University, MA Khaleque started his business career in the year 1975 as the managing director of Maksons (Bangladesh) Limited, a renowned trading house in Bangladesh.
He is the founder and sponsor director of Prime Bank Limited and Prime Financial Group, director of Northern General Insurance Company Limited and Fareast Islami Life Insurance Co Limited.
Besides, Khaleque is a founder member of the board of governors and honorary treasurer of Primeasia University.
Md Monir Hosain has been reelected vice chairman of Fareast Finance and Investment Limited at the same meeting of its board of directors.
Mr Monir, a veteran textile personality, started his career in the textile sector as a director of his family owned textile industry Noor Silk Mills Limited in the year 1981.
He made impressive contribution to the textile sector over the last 27 years by developing several model textile industries in the country. Mr Hossain is the managing director of Fahim Textile Mills Limited, Fariha Silk Mills Limited, Fariha Fashion and Fariha Spinning Mills Limited.
Other than textile sector, Mr Hossain is also a director of Wari Golden Hospital and founder member of the board of governors of Primeasia University.
Mr Hossain is associated with many social organisations and contributed to colleges, schools and rnadrasahs in his village.
