Khalid Mahmood promoted to MTB add'l MD

Md Khalid Mahmood Khan has recently been promoted to the rank of additional managing director of Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) with effect from September 01, 2023, said a statement.
He was the chief business officer (CBO) of the bank, while he was the deputy managing director of MTB prior to the promotion.
Mr Khalid also served the bank as senior executive vice president and head of the wholesale banking division. Of 23 years of service at MTB, he has successfully served the bank as the manager of three key branches such as the Principal Branch, the Dilkusha Branch and the Panthapath Branch for 13 years.
After completing his Masters from the University of Dhaka, he obtained his MBA. He started his career as a probationary officer of Agrani Bank Limited in 1994.
Mr Khalid has 29 years of front-line banking experience in relationship management of diverse customer segments i.e. corporate, financial institutions, local corporate, SME and retail, and has practical knowledge in lending, recovery, international trade, foreign exchange and general banking.
Khalid attended various local and overseas training courses and seminars. He also delivers lectures on diverse banking-related topics.
