Khandker Mosharraf lands in jail

A Dhaka court has sent senior BNP leader Khandker Mosharraf Hossain to jail after the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) questioned him for three days in a money laundering case.
He was arrested on Mar 12 from his Gulshan residence. A court had sent him to ACC custody the following day.
Hossain was produced before the Dhaka's Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court  Sunday after the questioning.
Metropolitan Magistrate Shahriar Mahmud Adnan rejected his bail plea and sent him to prison after the hearing, according to a news agency.
