After a day's recess, the 17th round of the B League begins today (Saturday) with Khulna Abahani KC taking on Sheikh Russel KC at the Khulna Stadium at 4:15 pm.
Giants Mohammedan SC will meet bottom ranked Rahmatganj MFS at 4:30 pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) Sunday.
Title contenders Abahani Limited are currently enjoying solo lead in the league points table securing 29 points from 14 matches with eight wins, five draws and one loss.
Muktijoddha Sangsad KC are in the second position with 27 points from 15 matches while Sheikh Russel KC in the third position by goal difference although they also collected 27 points from 15 matches.
Popular Dhaka metropolis club Mohammedan SC are in the fourth position with 26 points, followed by Brothers Union Club with 23 points, both playing 14 matches.
Rahmatganj MFS remain at the bottom of the points table with nine points from 15 matches, reports UNB.
