Khulna beat Rajshahi in Women's National Cricket League

Khulna Division beat Rajshahi Division by two wickets in the opening match of the Women's National Cricket League at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium (SANS), Khulna Saturday, reports UNB.
Batting first after winning the toss, Rajshahi Division managed to score 164 runs for all in 49.3 overs with Lota Mandal scoring 69 off 155 balls with four fours and Panna Ghose making 37 off 63 balls with a four.
Salma, who made a hattrick grabbed three wickets for 10 runs while Shaila Sharmin also hauled three wickets for 29 runs.
In reply, Khulna Division reached their target scoring 167 runs in 48.3 overs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Rifat Ara scored 41 runs off 71 balls hitting four boundaries, Tahin Tahera added 35 runs off 89 balls that included three fours while Rumana Ahmed made 21 runs off 67 balls with four fours.
Panna Ghose claimed three wickets conceding 22 runs while Tithi Rani bagged two wickets for 27 runs.
