Khulna, Kurigram road accidents kill four

A total of four people were killed in separate road accidents in Khulna and Kurigram districts on Saturday and Friday night, reports UNB.
In Khulna, two people were killed and at least 20 others injured in a collision between a bus and a private car in the Mechaghona area of Dumuria upazila of Khulna district on Saturday.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Locals said the Satkhira-bound bus collided head-on with the Khulna-bound private car at Mechaghona around 11:30 am.
The bus overturned and fell into a nearby ditch, leaving its two passengers dead on the spot.
In Kurigram, three motorcycle riders were killed in a road accident in Andharijhar area on Kurigram-Bhurungamari regional highway around 10 pm on Friday night.
The deceased were identified as Sagar, 24, son of Aftab Hossain, Sumon, 23, and Shahin, 25, son of Sohrab Ali. All were residents of Dakshin Ramkhana village of Nageswari upazila.
According to locals, a Dhaka-bound bus of Ena Paribahan hit a motorcycle with three riders coming from the opposite direction in Andharijhar area of Kurigram-Bhurungamari regional highway, leaving three riders dead on the spot.
